Sure the story here is way better than in FO4 or Skyrim, but the open world experience is far worse, and though the combat is fun on a bun, I'm not into these games for the experience of throwing bullets at my problems. It's made me far less likely to buy a Bioware game in the future, because I no longer feel as though I can count on what they're going to deliver. No good reason at least, meeting an arbitrary release date is usually the ultimate trump card here. The game is stable, I've never crashed or locked, but I'm on the XBone and there's no reason why they shouldn't have caught a lot of these issues and fixed them. What I got was fun third-person shooter combat, some interesting side characters and companions (some less so), a main story full of plot holes, a main character whose a god damn idiot (every complaint about FO4's dialogue options is dialed up to 11 for this game), and a whole lot of bugs. I picked it up because it was Bioware, so I was expecting a good story and a certain level of polish.
If this wasn't a Bioware game I probably wouldn't have bought it in the first place given the initial glitch and animation issues.
